Russia increases arms production despite economic strain

Russia is increasing the production rate and modernization of its ballistic missiles and drones.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the U.S.-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in a new post on X.

According to the think tank, available information suggests that Russia’s monthly missile production surpasses the United States’ monthly production of PAC-3 Patriot air defense interceptor missiles.

ISW also noted that Russia is increasing its military spending despite declining revenues, highlighting the ongoing strain on its economy amid continued large-scale strikes and drone attacks.
