Putin, Trump held phone talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump held a phone conversation.

Axar.az reports that the information was announced by Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov.

According to Ushakov, Putin congratulated Trump on his 80th birthday. Trump thanked the Russian leader for the congratulations and noted that Putin was the first foreign leader to call him on the occasion.

During the conversation, Trump urged Putin to end the war. The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations and the U.S.-Iran agreement.
