Washington launches financing fund for TRIPP initiative

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the United States has decided to establish a fund to finance the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) initiative and other regional projects

Axar.az informs that addressing the availability of necessary investment and capital, the prime minister emphasized that the United States has made at least a preliminary decision to finance the project and has created a fund to support regional initiatives, including TRIPP.

“A major fund has already been allocated, and the Republic of Armenia will, of course, fulfill its obligations regarding the remaining part. The document has been signed (referring to the agreement signed by Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on TRIPP), and the ratification stage is now underway, but we should not wait for formalities — we must move forward as quickly as possible. This is our position and the position of the United States,” Pashinyan said.
