One dead after freight trains collide in Munich

One person has died after two freight trains collided on a bridge in Munich early Saturday, causing two carriages to derail and fall onto a road below.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, the crash occurred in the Milbertshofen district at around 1:40 a.m., according to local authorities.

Emergency services sent about 60 responders to the scene.

Police said the cause of the collision is under investigation.
