Four killed, 28 injured in Ukrainian strike on Kerch - Video

Russia temporarily closed traffic on the Kerch Bridge after explosions and air defense activity were reported across Crimea overnight.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, blasts in Kerch, Sevastopol, Simferopol, and other areas, with a major fire reported near the port of Kerch.

Officials have not confirmed casualties or damage.

The reported attack follows recent Ukrainian strikes on Russian military and energy infrastructure in Crimea.

Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said drone operations were disrupting Russian supply routes on the peninsula, warning that “Crimea may soon become an island.”

Four people were killed and 28 others injured as a result of the attack on Kerch.

This was announced by the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov.

In addition, the strikes caused power outages in Sevastopol, Alushta, Krasnoperekopsk, Armyansk, and Novaya Yalta. Problems with mobile communications were also reported.

It was stated that the oil products transportation and storage facility in Kerch remains on fire.
