Iranian woman dies at age of 140 -

An Iranian woman named Guli Papi from Dorud County in Lorestan Province has died at the age of 140.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, Papi's birth certificate indicated that she was 126 years old at the time of her death.

However, because birth records in the past often did not accurately reflect people's ages, genealogical research and calculations based on the ages of her father and brothers determined that she was actually 140 years old.
