Rezaee accuses US of violating memorandum

The United States has violated key provisions of the memorandum by supporting the actions of its proxy force in the region and escalating tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.

Axar.az reports that Mohsen Rezaee, a military adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader, made the remarks in a post on X.

"The United States, by supporting the actions of its proxy force in the region, has violated the first clause of the memorandum, and by continuing to escalate tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, it has violated the fifth clause," he said.

Rezaee warned that "any violation of any provision of the memorandum will be met with a swift and forceful response."
