Magnitude 4 earthquake strikes Turkiye’s Balikesir

A magnitude 4.0 earthquake has struck the Sındırgı district of Turkiye’s Balikesir province.

Axar.az, citing Turkish media, the earthquake occurred at 15:56 local time (16:56 Baku time) and was recorded at a depth of 11.33 kilometers.

The quake caused brief panic among residents, but no adverse incidents or damage have been reported so far.
