Senior IRGC Navy official dies in road accident

Rear Admiral Mohammad Akbarzadeh, deputy for political affairs at the Office of Iran's Supreme Leader's representative in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, has died in a road accident.

Axar.az reports, citing Tasnim News Agency, that Akbarzadeh was killed after his vehicle overturned on a road in Kerman Province.

Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported him to a medical facility, but he later died from the severity of his injuries.
