IDF scrambles jets over Warsaw-Tel Aviv flight -

Israeli Air Force fighter jets were scrambled to escort a commercial flight from Warsaw to Tel Aviv after the military received a report of a loss of contact with the aircraft.

Axar.az reports, citing the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), that two fighter jets were dispatched in response to the incident.

Flight-tracking data showed that the LOT Polish Airlines flight, operated by Electra Airways, turned back along its route over the Mediterranean Sea.

The IDF later said contact with the aircraft had been restored and the incident had been resolved.
