The death toll from the twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24 has risen to 2,295.

Rodrguez said 26,403 people have been affected by the disaster through injuries, psychological trauma, or damage to their homes. He added that 17,026 patients have received medical treatment, with 4,565 still hospitalized and 13,942 discharged.
