Zelensky vows response to Russian strike on Kyiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has vowed a response to Russia’s massive overnight attack on Kyiv.

Axar.az reports, citing RBC-Ukraine, speaking at the site of the strike in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, Zelensky said: “Russia will receive a response for today’s attack on Kyiv — that is certain.”

He added that Ukraine supports “a just peace and a just end to the war,” noting that “until that happens, there must be just responses.”

Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Ukraine overnight, with Kyiv as the main target. The strike caused widespread damage across the capital and left dozens of people dead and injured.
