Lukashenko: Belarus wants peace, not war

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said the Belarusian people do not want war but will not surrender to any enemy.

Axar.az reports, citing Belta, that the head of state emphasized that Belarusians have learned the lessons of history well.

“The Belarusian people endured incredible hardships during the years of Nazi occupation, so they reject war at a genetic level,” he said.

“We are a peaceful nation and we do not want war, but we refuse to bow down before any enemy,” the Belarusian leader added.
