Karapetyan's house arrest extended by two months

The house arrest of Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of the “Strong Armenia” party, has been extended for a period of 2 months.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, that the prosecutor had requested an extension of the house arrest period for 3 months.

It should be noted that businessman Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of the opposition Strong Armenia party, is being held under house arrest as part of a criminal case on charges of publicly calling for the violent seizure of power.
