Trump effigy burned at Khamenei's funeral

A giant Lego-style effigy of U.S. President Donald Trump was set on fire by supporters of Iran's regime during the final day of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's funeral procession in Mashhad.

Axar.az reports, citing foreign media, that videos from the scene show the oversized Trump effigy suspended from a crane before being engulfed in flames as crowds gathered during the state-organized ceremony.

The symbolic display took place amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States following weeks of escalating regional conflict.

It should be noted that Khamenei was buried in his hometown of Mashhad yesterday.
