Israeli jets hit Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon

Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out at least five airstrikes on military sites belonging to the Hezbollah group in the southern Lebanese town of Al-Mansouri.

Axar.az reports, citing Janoubia, that the report said several abandoned residential buildings were also hit. Thick columns of smoke were seen rising from the targeted areas.

Earlier, an Israeli military spokesperson said Hezbollah infrastructure had been identified in Al-Mansouri, located in the Tyre border district.

Israeli drones also struck ground targets in Arnoun, Kfar Tibnit, and Majdal Zoun, where three people were reported injured.

Artillery shelled the towns of Deir Siryan, Qantara, and surrounding areas with heavy-caliber rounds, causing damage to residential buildings in several locations.

The report further claimed that Israeli forces used phosphorus munitions as part of a scorched-earth tactic, triggering fires near the towns of Haddatha and Al-Khiam. Firefighters were dispatched to contain the blazes, which spread to nearby farmland.
