Sviridenko to step down as Ukrainian Prime Minister

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko will step down, and the country's government will be reshuffled in the near future.

Axar.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on his Telegram channel.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the country is facing "new challenges and tasks." He said that efforts in Ukraine's frontline and border regions, which are under Russian attack, require "significant strengthening." Therefore, Kyiv must revise its political strategy, Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president also stressed that the government reshuffle would be carried out in cooperation with parliament. He added that the personnel changes would also affect the heads of the country's law enforcement agencies.
