Georgia is in contact with the United States and remains optimistic about restoring their strategic partnership.

Axar.az informs, citing Georgian media, that Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze made the remarks while speaking to journalists.

"We are optimistic that the strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States will be restored. We are in contact with our American partners.

We hope reciprocal steps will be taken, ultimately leading to the restoration of the strategic partnership. This is our goal, and we are patiently awaiting reciprocal steps from the U.S. side," he said.
