Armenian, Russian parliamentary speakers hold phone call

Armenian Parliament Speaker Ruben Rubinyan held a phone conversation with Valentina Matviyenko, speaker of Russia's Federation Council.

Axar.az reports, citing the Armenian parliament, that the two discussed interparliamentary cooperation between Armenia and Russia.

Rubinyan expressed concern over restrictions on the export of Armenian goods to the Russian market and stressed the importance of resolving the issue within the regulatory framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The speakers also discussed issues related to Armenia's process of joining the European Union.
