Russian Major General Valery Plokhotnyuk was among those killed in the explosion at Moscow's Balzi Rossi restaurant on August 1.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the VChK-OGPU Telegram channel published a photo of what it claims is the grave of Major General Valery Plokhotnyuk at Moscow's Troekurov Cemetery, where he was reportedly buried on August 5.

There is an official record indicating that Plokhotnyuk died on August 1. However, Russian authorities have not officially announced the general's death.

VChK-OGPU also claimed that the funeral of Danil Peredrin, the son-in-law of Russian Aerospace Forces Commander Alexander Chaiko, took place on August 6.

It should be noted that Plokhotnyuk took part in the war in Ukraine. In 2022, he served as chief of staff of Russia's 49th Combined Arms Army, which operated in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions.
