I believe now is the best time to reach an agreement with the United States.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian made the remarks at a press conference.

“If there is sometimes talk about the need to reach an agreement, I believe now is the best time to reach one, because there is solidarity, strength and unity in the country, and as far as I know, Iran is considered to have emerged victorious and strong from this war and conflict,” Pezeshkian said.

He added that Iran could pursue its rights and demands through negotiations, stressing that Tehran would seek nothing beyond the rights of the country and its people.
