Adam Kadyrov, the secretary of Chechnya’s Security Council and son of regional leader Ramzan Kadyrov, appeared at an event in Grozny wearing shoulder boards with two stars, suggesting he may have been promoted to lieutenant.

Axar.az informs, citing Russian media, that in March, the press service of the Chechen leader said the younger Kadyrov held the rank of junior lieutenant.

Adam Kadyrov attended an event marking Sports Day. Footage from the celebration was posted on his father’s Telegram channel on August 7. The footage shows Adam Kadyrov wearing shoulder boards with two stars.
