Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to visit Egypt

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will visit Egypt on August 13-14 to attend the second meeting of the Turkiye-Egypt Joint Planning Group and hold bilateral talks.

Axar.az reports, citing the Turkish Foreign Ministry, that the meeting will be held in an inter-agency format and co-chaired by the foreign ministers of Turkiye and Egypt.

The discussions will cover bilateral issues, including the outcomes of the second meeting of the Turkiye-Egypt High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, held in Cairo on February 4, as well as preparations for the third meeting of the council, which is scheduled to take place in Turkiye.

Fidan will also exchange views with Egyptian officials on regional developments during his visit.
