Saudi Arabia removes “The Muslims will never give up Jerusalem” from Grade 11 Arabic textbook.

Axar.az reports, citing IMPACT-se, that the change is part of a broader reform of Saudi Arabia’s school curriculum, which has gradually moderated some anti-Israel content.

According to an IMPACT-se review, the curriculum has also removed the term “the Zionist enemy” and replaced it with “the Israeli occupation.”

The review said the statement “The Muslims will never give up Jerusalem” was also removed from the curriculum.

However, IMPACT-se noted that Israel’s non-recognition and its characterization as an occupying power remain significant features of the Saudi curriculum.
