5.4-magnitude earthquake strikes off Russia’s Kamchatka coast.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that a 5.4-magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Russia’s Kamchatka region.

The earthquake occurred at 12:38 a.m. local time on August 17. Tremors of up to three points were felt in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, according to preliminary estimates.

The epicenter was located approximately 94 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 44 kilometers.
