Russia struck two cargo vessels in Ukrainian ports

Russian forces struck two dry cargo vessels in the Ukrainian ports of Odesa and Mykolaiv on Monday, alleging that the ships were carrying military-related cargo for Ukraine’s armed forces.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS that according to the Russian Defense Ministry, a vessel in Odesa was carrying weapons and ammunition for Ukrainian troops, while another dry cargo vessel in Mykolaiv was transporting military supplies.

“The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to strike maritime vessels and port infrastructure involved in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the ministry said.

It added that strike drones and precision weapons were used to target the vessels and military equipment warehouses in Odesa.
