Israel, Board of Peace to establish two Gaza working groups

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Board of Peace held “deep and constructive discussions” and agreed to establish two working groups focused on Gaza.

Axar.az reports, citing the Prime Minister’s Office, that the first group will focus on the disarmament and demilitarization of Gaza.

According to the statement, both Israel and the Board of Peace want the process to be completed promptly and before reconstruction begins in the territory.

The second working group will address sanitation, clean water and other public health issues affecting Gaza’s population and having an impact on Israel.

“The Prime Minister and Board of Peace had deep and constructive discussions,” the Prime Minister’s Office said.
