Israel warns Turkiye against military expansion in Syria

Israel will not tolerate a Turkish military buildup “that descends south because it threatens us”.

Axar.az reports, citing The Times of Israel, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made the remarks during a podcast interview on Wednesday.

The comments come a day after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) targeted an airbase near Idlib, which is 185 miles from Israel’s border with Syria.

Netanyahu warns Turkiye against such military activity in Syria.

“The message was conveyed,” he said.
