Former Israeli PM condemns Netanyahu’s Turkiye strategy

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak has accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of deliberately escalating tensions with Turkiye, calling the move “reckless and foolish.”

Axar.az reports that Barak made the remarks in a post on X.

“Not all the details can be discussed. However, Netanyahu’s deliberate escalation of tensions with Turkiye is reckless and foolish — it is hard to decide which more. It strongly reeks of a political intention to go into elections with a series of security tensions designed to stir fear among the public,” he said.
