Russia is continuing to await explanations from the United States and Turkiye regarding possible arms supplies to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova made the remarks on Thursday.

“We are still awaiting a response from Washington and Ankara and hope to receive it, including because of the obvious implications of this issue for the dynamics and prospects of a sustainable resolution of the Ukrainian conflict,” Zakharova said.

In early August, the US State Department informed Congress that Ankara could transfer outdated US weapons worth $255.9 million, including missile systems and ammunition, to Kyiv.
