A Russian ballistic missile strike on Ukraine’s Kyiv region has killed one person and injured five others in Boryspil district.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, said that a warehouse, parking lot, vehicles, private homes and a gas station were also damaged.

The Baza Telegram channel reported that Boryspil Airport was also heavily hit.

Preliminary reports indicate that around seven missiles equipped with cluster warheads struck the airfield, sending a large plume of thick smoke into the sky. Ukrainian air defense positions and logistics facilities had previously been located there.
