Zelenskiy says Russia plans to mobilise 300,000 troops

Ukraine believes Russia plans to mobilise an additional 300,000 troops after parliamentary elections in September.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia could also draft hundreds of thousands more troops in 2027 as part of its goal of capturing the remainder of Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region.

Zelenskiy did not provide evidence for the assessment or specify how Ukraine had obtained the information.
