Zelensky says Russia has up to 630 ballistic missiles

Russia currently has between 600 and 630 ballistic missiles and could produce up to 1,300 such missiles annually.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrinform, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia could potentially produce about 100 ballistic missiles per month, although it has not yet reached that level.

“I believe Russia could have up to 1,300 ballistic missiles a year. They currently have 600-630. We roughly understand what volume they are counting on from now until the end of winter. They could have about 100 ballistic missiles a month. But they do not have that yet,” Zelensky said.

He said Ukrainian forces were working to weaken Russia’s military-industrial complex and prevent it from reaching its missile-production targets.

“I named the most frightening figure – we believe it is 1,300 missiles. They would like to have 100 ballistic missiles a month. That is why we are now working to ensure that there are not 1,300 – to reduce this number,” Zelensky said.

He also said Ukraine was carrying out operations aimed at preventing Russia from launching mass missile attacks, adding that the first results had already been achieved.
