Ukraine strikes on Russian aircraft and air defense systems

Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces claimed it had destroyed or hit 11 of 14 Russian military targets in overnight operations in Russia’s Rostov and Krasnodar regions and occupied Crimea.

Axar.az reports that Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, posted on his Facebook account that the targets included a Su-33 fighter jet, a MiG-29 fighter, an Orion reconnaissance-strike drone, eight radar systems, a Tor air-defense system, a Pantsir-S1 system and an S-400 air-defense position near Gelendzhik.

“11 of the 14 targets were effectively struck in the swamps of Russia’s Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai, while the other three were in Crimea,” Brovdi posted.

According to Brovdi, the targeted radar systems included Nebo-U, Kasta 2E2, Podlyot, 36D6M and ST-68 systems.
