Axar.az reports, citing IRNA, that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said this in response to U.S. threats of severe economic sanctions.

“They have once again gone from talking about military operations and saying ‘we will strike’ and ‘we will do this or that’ back to their old plans, and this shows that they are desperate. They cannot come up with any solution in the face of the great Iranian nation, so they keep bringing repetitive plans back onto the stage," Araghchi added.
