Hamas weapon storage facilities struck in Gaza

The Israeli military and Shin Bet said they struck and dismantled five Hamas weapons storage facilities and a launch site in several operations across the Gaza Strip on Monday.

Axar.az reports, citing the IDF's Telegram channel, that the facilities contained rockets, weapons, explosives, grenades, ammunition and other military equipment intended for attacks on Israeli troops in Gaza.

The Israeli forces said the storage facilities were located inside mosques and alongside humanitarian infrastructure, accusing Hamas of systematically exploiting civilian sites in violation of international law.

The statement said advance warnings were issued before the strikes and that additional measures, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance, were taken to reduce the risk to civilians.

The IDF and Shin Bet said forces in the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire framework and will continue operating against immediate threats.
