Any action undermining social cohesion is prohibited

Despite the military attacks and restrictions imposed by the US and Israel, Iran continues to focus on social welfare and is implementing measures in this regard.

Axar.az reports, citing Tehran Times, that Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei made the remarks in a message marking Government Week.

The Iranian leader also stressed the importance of national unity and social cohesion, saying that all major measures in the cultural, social, political, security and economic spheres should take their impact on social cohesion into account.

“I categorically declare that committing any act that harms social cohesion is prohibited,” Khamenei said.

He also warned against statements that undermine hope and weaken national and public motivation, as well as “false dichotomies,” including “war or negotiations,” “consensus or extremism” and “compromise or warmongering.”

Following the Supreme Leader’s address, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on X that all instructions would be carried out and the Islamic Republic would progress.
