Armenia FM outlines Yerevan’s new diplomatic goals

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has outlined Yerevan’s new diplomatic goals.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, that an annual meeting of the leadership of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry central office and heads of diplomatic missions abroad was held in the city of Gyumri.

Speaking at the conference, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said that the Republic of Armenia, including its diplomatic service, had entered a new stage.

Mirzoyan noted that, in light of the current realities, the challenges and opportunities facing the country were entirely different. He stressed that the main tasks of the diplomatic corps were to strengthen independence and state resilience, as well as to make full use of economic potential in the process of normalizing relations with neighboring states.
