Six killed, 38 injured as bus traveling from Georgia to Moscow crashes with truck in Russia.

Axar.az reports, citing the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, that the accident occurred near the settlement of Inozemtsevo in the city of Zheleznovodsk.

According to the report, a Georgia-Moscow bus collided with a KAMAZ truck on the Kavkaz highway at around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

Six people were killed, and 38 others were injured, including 10 children. According to preliminary information, there were 43 people on the bus.

The city prosecutor's office in Zheleznovodsk is conducting an investigation into the accident to assess compliance with road safety and passenger transportation regulations.

Azerbaijanis traveling from Baku to Georgia by train and then continuing by bus toward Moscow have been involved in a serious accident in Russia’s Stavropol Krai.

According to Tеleqraf, this was reported by Fakhraddin Yariyev, head of the Azerbaijani community in Stavropol Krai.

He said that more than 50 Azerbaijani citizens were on the bus. Six people were killed in the accident, while several others sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to hospital.

It should be noted that those killed and injured in the accident were reportedly traveling from Azerbaijan to Moscow.
