Drones attack Russia’s Leningrad Oblast - Video

Drones attacked Russia’s Leningrad Oblast overnight, with a fire reported at the KINEF (Kirishinefteorgsintez) oil refinery in Kirishi on Aug. 30.

Axar.az reports, citing Ukrainian media, that Leningrad Oblast Governor Alexander Drozdenko said air defenses had shot down 42 drones.

He said a fire broke out in Kirishi’s industrial zone following the attack and that emergency services were working at the scene.

The Supernova+ monitoring channel reported that the KINEF refinery, one of Russia’s largest, was targeted.

The facility has a processing capacity of about 20 million metric tons of oil per year.
