Macron, Lecornu face to low approval over budget

French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu are facing declining public support amid growing discontent over the government's budget plans.

Axar.az reports that, according to a CSA poll for Le Journal du Dimanche, Macron's approval rating fell by seven points, while Lecornu's dropped by five points.

The poll comes after a difficult summer marked by wildfires and growing public frustration over the government's economic policies.
