Pezeshkian warns of decisive response to any attack

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran does not want war but would respond “decisively” to any attack.

Axar.az reports, citing Iran International, that Pezeshkian made the remarks as he left Tehran for Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to attend a summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization leaders.

“We are not seeking war, and this is a clear message we have conveyed to the world,” Pezeshkian said. “But we will never sit quietly in the face of any aggression and will respond decisively to the aggressors.”

He said instability and unrest in the region benefited no country and would create challenges for all.

It should be noted that the U.S. military had carried out drone strikes on two missile launchers on Iran’s Larak Island.
