Fidan: Mecca Defense Alliance open to all regional states

First and foremost, we agreed on the official name of our alliance. The official name of our alliance is the Mecca Defense Alliance.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made the statement.

“We would like to reiterate that the alliance is not directed against any state. On the contrary, it is open to all states in our region that adhere to these fundamental principles,” Fidan said.

It should be noted that the first meeting under the Mecca Defense Agreement was held in Turkiye today.
