Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump’s special representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky made a statement on his Telegram account.

“A good phone conversation with representatives of President Trump, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. It was detailed and constructive. It is important that dialogue between the US and Ukrainian negotiating teams is continuing constantly, and we are now discussing setting a date for their visit to Ukraine. This trip would be very useful for working out solutions toward peace,” he stated.

Zelensky also briefed his interlocutors on the situation on the battlefield.

"I also briefed them on the situation on the battlefield, where Russia’s gains are insignificant and achieved at the cost of enormous losses, as well as on the air strikes. Steve and Jared know many of the details," he added.
