Putin, Erdogan meet in Bishkek

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Bishkek.

Axar.az reports that during the meeting, V. Putin emphasized the high level of Russia-Turkiye economic cooperation.

The Russian leader said that Turkiye is one of Russia’s privileged partners in both foreign policy and the economy.

Putin noted that Russia and Turkiye continue to implement large-scale joint projects, particularly the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NPP).
