Baghaei: Mecca agreement poses no threat

The agreement between Turkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is not a threat to Tehran.

Axar.az reports, citing Iranian media, that Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said this at a press conference.

“Clearly, Islamic countries have reached the conclusion that they cannot rely on the United States for their security and that they must turn to cooperation to safeguard their security. In this regard, Iran has been consulting with these countries, and as for Turkiye, we will continue our consultations,” Baghaei said.
