Putin, Erdogan hold extended talks in Bishkek

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held talks in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for approximately one and a half hours, nearly three times longer than the 30 minutes originally planned.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that most of the talks were held behind closed doors.

The prospects for resolving the conflict in Ukraine were also among the topics discussed during the leaders’ closed-door meeting.

The closed-door meeting was attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and National Intelligence Organization (MIT) chief Ibrahim Kalin.
