US won't negotiate with Iran until attacks on ships stop

US Vice President J.D. Vance said Thursday that Washington will not resume negotiations with Iran until Tehran stops attacking commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

Axar.az reports, citing CBS News, that during a White House briefing, Vance said: “The president's been very clear: We're not talking to them, and we're not going to talk to them unless they stop shooting at commercial shipping."

"They've got to stop. It's that simple," he added.
