Moscow will respond if European missiles strike Russia

Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev warned that Russia could respond if European countries use long-range weapons to strike deep inside Russian territory.

Axar.az reports, citing Bulgarian media, that speaking during parliamentary scrutiny on Friday, Radev warned that continued escalation could widen the conflict and urged Europe to begin negotiations as soon as possible.

“Isn’t it a reckless act for leading European countries to send their long-range weapons to attack thousands of kilometers deep into Russian territory, with weapons manufactured in Europe, using information from Europe and instructors from Europe? Isn’t that also reckless?” Radev said.

He urged European governments to consider how Moscow could react to such attacks.

“Let us judge for ourselves, let us not close our eyes. And what can we expect when we attack deep behind the scenes of another country with our long-range weapons? Will it stand by or will it respond? That is the big question,” he said.

“Europe must finally start calculating the risk and sit down at the negotiating table as soon as possible, because this war is expanding its spatial scope and the risk is growing with each passing day,” he said.
