Xi to bring large CEO delegation on US visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping is preparing to bring a large delegation of Chinese business executives to Washington for his planned September 24 summit with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Axar.az reports, citing Reuters, that the delegation is intended in part to signal China’s willingness to support investment and commercial ties with the United States.

Reuters said the final list of executives has not yet been determined.

Xi last brought a sizeable business delegation to the United States in 2015, when Chinese business leaders accompanied him during his visit.
